Equipment

  • 1 Food processor To blend the dates into a sticky paste and to mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  • 1 Measuring Cups and Spoons For accurately measuring the seeds, coconut, spices, and dates.
  • 1 Mixing Bowl A large bowl to combine all the ingredients
  • 1 Spatula For scraping down the sides of the food processor and mixing the ingredients.

  • ¼ Cup Black Sesame Seeds
  • ¼ Cup White Sesame Seeds
  • ¼ Cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • ¼ Cup Sunflower Seeds
  • ¼ Cup Flax Seeds
  • ½ Cup Desiccated Coconut
  • 1 Cup Pitted Dates
  • Pinch Of Himalayan Pink Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Seeds: Start by measuring out 1/4 cup each of black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and flax seeds. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add Desiccated Coconut: Add 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut to the seed mixture. Mix well to ensure even distribution.
  • Prepare the Dates: Take 1 cup of pitted dates and chop them into smaller pieces if they are not already chopped.This will help in blending them more smoothly.
  • Blend the Dates: In a food processor, blend the chopped dates until they form a sticky paste. You may need to scrape down the sides a few times to ensure all the dates are blended evenly.
  • Combine Ingredients: Add the date paste to the bowl with the seeds and coconut. Sprinkle in a pinch of Himalayan pink salt, 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
  • Mix Thoroughly: Use your hands ora spatula to mix all the ingredients thoroughly. The mixture should be sticky enough to hold together when pressed.
  • Form the Balls: Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls using your hands.Aim for about 1-inch diameter for each ball.
  • Chill (Optional): For a firmer texture, you can place the energy balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
  • Store and Enjoy: Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for upto a week. Enjoy them as a quick snack or a healthy dessert!
