Cinnamon Rolls

Raw Vegan Cinnamon rolls? Say less!

For the cinnamon rolls, you will need:

  • 5 large ripe Bananas, thinly sliced vertically
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 10 pitted Mejdool dates, soaked for 2-3 hours
  • Pinch of salt
  • A dehydrator

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup Cashews, soaked for 3-4 hours
  • 1/4th cup soaking date water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4th tsp Cinnamon powder

Simply blend all the ingredients to form the cashew glaze.

To assemble the rolls:

  1. Dehydrate the Bananas for 6 hours at 45°C
  2. Make the Caramel by blending the soaked dates, cinnamon powder & salt (add 1-2 tbsp of soaking date water to adjust consistency if needed) to form a thick paste
  3. Spread the caramel evenly on the dehydratedbanana slices and wrap them around itself to form a roll
  4. Dehydrate for another 6 hours
  5. Drizzle with the glaze before serving.
