Date Balls, Energy Balls, Energy Bites, call it whatever you want, it’s the same thing. Super easy to make, just three basic ingredients, very healthy, quick and easy and best of all, stores for up to a month in the fridge.
- 1/2 cup of dessicated Coconut
- 1 cup of Almonds
- 1 cup Cashews
- 15 medjool dates
- Pinch of Salt
Optional add ins: cacao, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, vanilla, protein powder, dried fruit, other nuts, flax seeds, pumpkin or sunflower seeds (whatever you fancy, just keep in mind that you will have to play around with the consistency depending on what you add in)
- Add the dry ingredients into the food processor first and let it run until it turns into a fine powder.
- Next, just add in the dates and process until it all comes together like a dough
- Form them into equal sized balls and enjoy!
